A double-sided Stûv stove separates the dining area and generous living room which both flow seamlessly onto the expansive deck, creating a setting designed as much for conversation and entertaining as for simply taking in the view.

Dining at the Hillhouse is centred around our 2 striking hand-made dining tables, crafted from one of our 175-year-old fallen Ash trees, which anchor the space. Complemented by a sleek, fully equipped kitchen and walk-in larder built with natural stone slabs reclaimed from the farm. The space is open and connected, a setting where conversation, food, and company move easily together.

Outdoor living at the Hillhouse spans three acres of private grounds, with mature trees and open views across beautiful countryside towards the River Tay, the Lomonds of Fife, and the Carse of Gowrie, where the only neighbours are cows in the adjoining field!
The extensive deck and patio creates space to slow down and relax or to entertain with ease, featuring a double recliner lounge bed, outdoor sofas, and a luxurious wood-burning hot tub. Outdoor dining is made effortless, with an outdoor fireplace, pizza oven, BBQ and two large hand-made dining tables.
Our expansive garden offers privacy and scale, a setting that is equally suited to peaceful days in nature as it is to hosting special occasions, including family celebrations and events with space for a marquee.

The Hillhouse is designed to be enjoyed in every way, whether you are here to relax in luxury, entertain, or gather friends and family together. With generous outdoor space for children to play and adults to unwind, the house is equally well-suited to quieter days indoors, offering a built-in wendy house, a cosy upstairs snug with board games, a large TV and Wii, and a dedicated games room with a pool table, darts, a built-in bar, and flat-screen TV. Thoughtfully designed throughout, The Hillhouse balances calm, comfort, and entertainment to suit every kind of stay.
